God has written the years beautifully on her face, in her arms and fingers, in her bent figure. And she wears her triumphs, frustrations, fears, and hopes in an ash gray tiara that is her hair.
Now in her twilight years, she spends her days waiting for her knight in shining armor---her late husband Odon---to fetch her in a carriage drawn by horses with magnificent white wings. Not that she has lost all zest for life; it's just that she wants to fill her remaining days with promises!
She was born with a silver spoon being a scion of a pioneering business taipan of Tandag. But in the name of love, she reinvented herself and became a wife who happily cast net with her husband, changed nipa roof, and tilled soil.
With consuming passion, she showered her husband with a love that was defined by forgiveness, humility and understanding. And in the end, the purity of that love has served her well.
In a span of thirty six thousand and five hundred days, she has given life to nine children: Arturo, Bonifacio, Calvino, David, Felino, Emeterio, Solita, Perlita and Emilio. In turn, they have given her grandchildren who love her fiercely.
