Mr. Lute M. Ibanez passed away from complications arising from diabetes at 2 o'clock yesterday, 30 May 2010, at his residence in Tago. He was 73 years old.
Uncle Lute is survived by his children---Alex, Judy(stump), Nene (Seagull), Nicnic, Loklok and Gilbanz---in-laws and grandchildren.

I’m very sad to hear Iyo Lute’s passing. For awhile I thought he was doing fairly well in health. I last met him in 2007 in a short happenstance in Tago. He fondly narrated to me his passion for gardening when he was in the US.
