Jose Laurente Sr died last night, 17 November 2008, in Tago. He was 77.

He is survived by his wife, Hon. Fe M. Laurente, children, in-laws, and grandchildren. He was the grandfather of our fellow blogger, ranz_ikov.

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the bereaved family, most especially to fellow Seagull, Jose M. Laurente Jr., a nurse in London.
