CONSTANCIA "TANCING" SILVOZA-BAUTISTA PASSES ON
CONSTANCIA SILVOZA-BAUTISTA died at about six o'clock in the evening on 28 April 2010 at her residence in Tago. Iya Tancing, as she was popularly known, was 83 years old and is survived by her husband, Alejandro Bautista Sr, her children---Alex (who's running for Vice Mayor of Tago), Larry, Bebot, Vivien and Neneth--- in-laws and granchildren.
Her remains lie in state at her residence. No schedule yet for burial.
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the bereaved family.

Iya Tancing was born on September 1, 1927. An elementary school teacher, she married Alejandro Bautista who gave her six children.
Mid-December last year, Iya Tancing was cleaning the house when a rat jumped from nowhere. It so frightened her that she lost her balance and fell down, with the back of her head hitting the concrete floor first.
Her children brought her to Davao where the doctor diagnosed her to have suffered from so much trauma that her brain had a clot. She was operated on and stayed in the hospital for almost two months.
Heeding the advice of her doctor, her children brought her home to Tago where she eventually succumbed to cardiac arrest.
Iya Tancing was a smiling, jolly woman and a devout Catholic.
Her remains lie in state at her residence. No schedule yet for burial.
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the bereaved family.

Very sorry to hear. She was my fourth grade teacher.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May she rest in peace.
K-Spy,
Seeing that name made my heart skip a beat because she and my aunt (Walter's mother - minus their maiden name - who've since long passed) were namesake.

To my Classmate Bev,
Last year was your brother and now Iya Tancing. I hope you find solace from the good memories you had with them and from friends and relatives that surround and support you in this time of grief.
