Do you feel/believe that there is a need for a new cemetery, the old one being too congested already?

Kuman pa sa kamu mangutana na hagbay da inin ato menteryo gahiot. abihay niyo, an ako gani lola yatogbak na an lubong, yagabitay na sa baybay. naman ako pirme kinolba basin kaabutan nan kamatayon hain ako ini ibutang? usahay hanging dakan an uso sa sunod kay total kahagbai na sa nan mga sanga nan danakit. wow, maskin sa ako kamatayon pan-alipadhan sa gihapon ako. Haraw masakit an mayor magpahimu nan private na mentiryo adto sa Lambian! awat dakan sa mga kinolba anhin may mga fishpond.

i really think so! tan awa da lamang iton ato mintiryo, ga patung-patung na sa ka arang na lubong.
dapat i expand an mentiryo tapos an bag o na menteryo dili na tugotan an single occupancy kun boarding house pa lugar. dapat mag hinang nan kibali apartment na lubnganan para ma ka save nan space. pero dili sab nan yaun kibali da isab pagapikit-pikit na boxes, in other words dapat yaun gwapohay isab.
tapos an ato mentiryo kuman dili na tugotan an mga lubong na gababa-baba na amo da nan mga building na gacontest pagpataasay.

madayaw sa adon na plano pero an problema kun hain mo ipwesto. yaun mga memorial parks sa tuho kinahanglan dinagko na lupa, tagpila ka hectares. kuman da lugar, kay nihit sa anhin lupa sa centro o poblacion, so its definitely out of the picture. unless i transfer nato sa lain na lugar like sa soung pero mahalayoi na. but kun wara na gayud ato lain na choince then i guess mas madayaw kun ato dakan siningdon.

hi. i can't help but quote 'yo liloy salas again. To at-at: no, i don't have anything against him. 
when yo liloy ran for vice mayor (am not sure now though if sangguniang bayan or brgy. captain or barangay kagawad etc.), one of his plaftforms was the establishment of a new cemetery because he must have observed that the present cemetery is such that spirits are complaining that they can't sleep from too much congestion.
during the state of the municipality address of mayor pimentel last july 2004 (where he also laid down his cartada 9, his executive agenda, the issue of cemetery congestion cropped up.
because i was there, i reminded them of yo liloy's platform. and i went to suggest that if the lgu doesn't have the wherewithal to put up a new cemetery, it being i suppose, not a priority, then private investors can go into cemetery development. in fact, even the association of senior citizens and retirees can invest on this, they themselves being part of the captured market. no offense meant, really.
engr. alex bautista is also interested on this because he can make a lot of money out of this. the ideal site will be the land of the montero's just across the main cemetery road, where they have their own private cemetery. but i heard that the monteros (specifically tony and nick [and of course, the late mike of chicago]) are not too keen about this for sentimental reasons.
another ideal site would be the sprawling land somewhere in soong, going victoria. or the one fronting pitang's.
as it is, the cost of the lots in the cemetery has skyrocketed faster than the dead could say ORA PRO NOBIS!
if this will not be looked into, there will come a time that we'll go back to the old practice of wrapping our dead with mats and letting them be swept by the river to where they wanna meet their gods. The problem is: nobody makes mats anymore.

more space for new messages.... bitaw... laong nila... if you want to know the population of a place in just a glance... go to the cemetery... well, minhamok na an taga tago.. an iban lamang yagtrabaho or yaghuya sa lain na lugar... pero magpahiluna sa gayud sa tago... once a tagon-on, always a tagon-on... more space please....
