To the general public, this is a lifestyle that most people can’t understand or choose to ignore. For it is a part of the sad reality of being a poor and a corrupt country.

Now, when we see the underage woman on the clubs, on the streets, she represents only the tip of the iceberg of what’s happening in our country today.

For me, what’s important most is that the police and the elected government officials should be very strict in imposing our laws and bribery is strictly prohibited. Let’s become a person of action, one of those indomitable souls who go out and hunt down the greatest life that we can give. Do the best that we know how to do. And then let go and accept what ever comes to us with a happy heart and perfect certainty that this is what nature intended for us….

It is sad to see that some children dont get to be children instead they have to be sold to help their struggling families. There is also a high risk of sexually transmitted diseases specially HIV that these people are not even concerned about. The government & elect officials should impose stricter rules and fines or punishment for these predators that fuels this kind of underage prostitution. And shame on those people that helps them get away.

here's a lowdown on child prostitution.

"According to ECPAT, about 100 thousand children are forced into child prostitution in Taiwan. Child prostitutes are in demand in other countries too. Venezuela has around 40 thousand underage prostitutes; there are approximately 25 thousands prostitutes aged 12 to 17 in the Dominican Republic; Peru has about 500 thousand child prostitutes, another 500 thousand child prostitutes are in Brazil; Canada has 200 thousand child prostitutes. From 300 thousand to 600 thousand of 2 million prostitutes in the USA are children and teenagers under 18. Most of them are under the category of street prostitutes.

The above statistics clearly indicate that child prostitution has become a global problem...."

Agree! Thank you for listing the statistics. As you mentioned, it is clearly a global problem. But would it be nice if ideally our country, government, justice system & countrymen, could do more to protect, fight and see results on this problem?
