Urgent Prayer Request for my cousin Jomelie!

Please stand with me in prayer for Jomelie Prado Uriarte, my first cousin and a youngest daughter of Auntie Amy. Just found out she has a brain tumor. The neuro-surgeons immediately scheduled the brain surgery tomorrow around 6am (manila time). Please pray for the family, for her comfort, for God to work His mighty Hand through this surgery, that she pulls through with complete recovery.

And please especially take a moment Wednesday morning to pray for Jom.

Oo BON, I will pray for Jomelie. Let us not think of the worse na dayon. NOT all tumors are MALIGNANT. Let's hope it's benign. Let HIM be in control. Ask GOD for HIS DIVINE intervention. HE knows what is best for us. Probably you'll telll me: "Mana/Ninang C, it is easier said than done". But I've been there many times. With Mama, Papa & Edward. All I can say:" NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. HE knew what was in my heart & all I said was "LORD, YOUR WILL BE DONE. I entrust my love ones and myself in YOU. Take charge - LORD"

GOD gave me the strength and peace of mind. That's it!

I just finished talking to Nelson (SIBS hub) Jomelie is in L.A baya. Jomelie's brother from Florida will be flying tomorrow tor California to be with Jomelie.

What more could I say, except I am happy to hear that Jomelie is in US but sad nan katalagman na sinmugat sa iya. But let's raise our (esp. Amie) hopes higher to God and entrust to Him this predicament. I know it's hard to do so, but just - "Cling to God for Mercy ... Nothing is impossible with Him ... and to everything/every happening, there is always a reason. God is Good! He will MIRACULOUSLY DO GOOD at this time that Jomelie needs help". - There could be reasons why He let Jomelie come to USA: one is for her to avail the hi-tech medical treatment here, to be a living witness of God's Goodness and Power, another is for us to "wait and see"- mission that God wants her to do, etc. I believe all these and those are part of His plan for her.

I have a co-employee at GMC-Cebu (both husband and wife), who left for Australia 4 years back with their three kids the eldest was only grade three, when after two months the wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Pero laktod na pagkasulti, after all mga pangalyupo and the wonders of medical technology, she is now a cancer survivor, very happy with her family and siblings in Australia.

With my prayers for Jomelie's health restoration and "peace" for the whole family esp. Amie.

This is just a quick note to let everyone know that Jom's surgery went well. She's now recuperating at recovery room. Four tumors had been removed from her nervous system. Please continue praying for her speedy recovery & successful rehab.
