He has secured his place in the annals of history as Tago's Master Showman and Mr. Entertainment. We grew up watching him mount the old stage (now Tago's tennis court) as host, regaling us with his baritone voice and verbal antics. And now he's back, every Saturday at the Kiosk, doing what he does best---emceeing an amateur singing contest! He may have lost a bit of his showmanship, but he can still elicit a good laugh.

Tagon-ons look forward to their Saturdays when they troop to the Plaza for a night of laughter and fun. Thanks to Mr. Showman, entertainment is now back in Tago.

Totong got slim and looking young. I’m happy to see that he hasn’t lost the touch and is well able to draw a crowd still. Remember there was a time na barkada ini sila nan sitting vice mayor.

mismo! we were rooting for you then and up to now i can still remember the song you sang in the Grand Finals; it was a tour de force rendition of Martin Nievera's Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin! And when Totong announced you as the Grand Champion you flashed a smile that until now is etched in my memory.
A week later---and I don't know if you still remember this---I chanced upon you at Bright Star. I was on my way to the second floor and I met you by the stairs. When I shook your hand to congratulate you, you turned coy and misty eyed!

Wow si Manong Totong minbalik. Diin na baya ini siya maghuya? This is so nostalgic Kamps. Bow sab gayod ako sa iya.
He may not resemble the man what he used to be in my memory due to his diminished dimension, all the while I still could feel fondness for him. At one point in those Singing Contest days, my brod, Manong Nonoy was his partner for a short spell. The twosome jelled well in making the audience’s attention glued to the show.

Ay ay kada adlaw mukadi sa ako lamisa an emcee kay magpa reproduce nan solicitation letter kay lunes pa maghanap na siya nan donors para ipremyohay pagka sabado hehehe. Nan lunes gaatang sa mga konsehal na mahuman an session kay dayon siya magduho nan solicitation.
