thank you very much, tito rommel! i've always been a proud tagon-on, as well (dili ako makakaon kun waray suka labi na kun tinowa an sud-an, hehe). even my first name (immaculate faye) was taken after the immaculada concepcion town fiesta - as influenced by my lola oyang, since i was born on december 7, 1988 in tago.

hehe, sabi ni papa june 8 daw po ang blow out sa tago. imbitado po kayo. ingatz po! thank you po ulit! nga pala, hi tita daisy!

thanks to you and to my fellow tagon-ons for making this wonderful way of communication (this site, i mean) possible. despite heavy school workloads, i often visited it. now that school's already out, i have more time to do so. CONGRATULATIONS TO MY FELLOW GRADUATES, as well.

it seems to me that tago is having a golden harvest. it began with oyenz who finished cum laude in computer science at the ateneo de manila university. then christine gallito, baed's daughter, graduated magna cum laude in accountancy at the university of san carlos. (baed, of course, was your papa's batchmate at purisima school). and then there's you!

now that i think about it, your lola oyang must've put some cerebral potion into her famous afritada that made you excel. and am sure, christine too might have, one way or another, sampled the same fare from your lola.

aww, how i wish lola oyang and lolo maldo were still around to celebrate with us. yep, you're right. afritada was her specialty (yum!). papa tata once told me that lola was also known for her dugo-dugo and paklay (hehe).

i'm also glad that i share some connection with christine and oyenz. like what you've said, christine's father and my papa were batch mates and they remain as barkada. coincidentally, oyenz' tita nelpha was also papa's batch mate.
