 Post subject: Ampalaya With Shrimp

prepare the following:

2 pcs. ampalaya (about 1 lb.)
10-12 pcs. of shrimps
2 eggs
salt
garlic
1 onion
2 pcs. tomatoes
3 tbsp. cooking oil

cooking steps:

1. wash the ampalaya well, open it, remove and discard the seeds. slice the ampalaya into small strips. do not wash again. sprinkle with salt and set aside.

2. prepare the garlic, slice the onion, slice the tomatoes.

3. peel the shrimps and cut into small pieces. discard the heads.

4. beat the eggs and sprinkle it with salt.

5. heat the cooking pan. pour cooking oil on pan, wait for 30-40 seconds, then add garlic.

6. cook the garlic until light brown, then add onions.

7. cook onions until sides are light brown, then add tomatoes.

8. wait until tomatoes are cooked before adding the shrimps, ampalaya, and egg. season with salt.

9. do not add water. do not add MSG.

10. do not overcook. remove from heat when shrimps are red, ampalaya is still crunchy, and the egg is dry.

Hain na kaw? Galuto kay ako nan ampalaya kaina with lean chicken breast. Amoy amo panihapon ug sinugba na bangos. Ingkadomdoman ta kaw dayon. Madayawe sa baya an ampalaya Ning sa diabitis. Basaha ngadto sa Health Thread adtoy ako ngadto post. Forward ini ni Abbs. Bishi ton tao koman na panahon kanaman wara naay magpaugintok nganhi.

Thank you for sharing that info on ampalaya and okra. Madayaw lagi kuno ini sa diabetes, kanaman, kon makakita ako nan baligya na ampalaya, mopalit gayud ako para makaluto sa bay nan bisan uno dakan, usahay, ampalaya na may corned beef, or butangan ko nan ampalaya an paksiw na isda, or magluto ako nan pinakbet. May history sa gud kami nan diabetes, sa mother side.

When I find time, magpost ako nan Pinakbet Recipe, kay may ampalaya and okra sa ini. This will be for those who do not know how to cook this dish.
