Today, imagine yourself experiencing the tenderness of God in one of these ways: resting in God's arms as a weary one would do with a good friend; gathered lovingly by God as a lost sheep would be by a concerned shepherd; consoled by God in an embrace of deep love by the beloved; comforted as a child held on the lap of a parent.
