Dr. Juan Montero of Chesapeake, Virginia traces his roots to Tago and Bayabas. Last April 29, President George Bush invited him to the White House along with other five Physicians for Peace volunteers to participate in a ceremony to mark the kick-off of National Volunteer Week.

Back here, the family of Dr. Montero, especially Ms. Lala M. Ambray, complained about the error in the Inquirer article which said that Dr. Montero hails from Siargao, instead of Bayabas, Surigao del Sur.
