Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," said the Spirit, "let them find rest from their labors, for their works accompany them." (Revelation 14:13)
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
And may he rest in peace.
Amen.

insoms and the rest of the quinonez clan,
my heartfelt condolences to all of you.
ABB, on her recent homecoming, sent me "Too Soon to Say Goodbye," the last book of Pulitzer Prize winner Art Buchwald who wrote it while staying at the Hospice awaiting his death after he refused dialysis. In the first paragraph on page 43, Art wrote and I quote: "A psychiatrist told me that when you grieve you think of all the things you didn't do for your loved one and not the things you did do."
For someone like me who's been there and done done, I say: How very true. But then again, in times like this, it's best to focus on good memories.
Again, my condolences.
(Note: I was out of the loop for many days, sorry.)

Hello everyone,
Yadi pa ako sa Aust, trabajo pa til Thursday. The soonest flight available is on Thursday which Mana Emma & family are taking. Since my better half could only go on Saturday we then decided to go together on that day. Pag-abot sa Manila maturog pa gayod nan 2 ka nights kay way flight nan Sunday for Butuan, so bale Monday na kami kaabot. Anyhow, the burial would still be next Saturday (10th of March).
Papa's passing happened on Friday, early dawn, 23rd of Feb - 14 days after his birthday and 33 days shy of our March 28 expected arrival. Sensing that his not so well condition prolonged this time, we finalized our plan to leave for Phils this week, though we have been booked on the 28th of March. But things happened in a rapid mode. He is now gone and gone for good. Anyhow, wherever he is now I know Papa knows we tried hard concurrent with Mama's and my relatives' desire. Masakiti ug mamingawi palandongon. It's only now I can truly feel how it is to have lost someone dear to us and I take all your thoughts for they are what keep me going today. What I do now is to relive his good memories and I do have heaps of those.
I always talk to Mama and as ever stoic and unflustered, I doubt how much longer she could carry on this facade especially by the time things normalize, not to mention her present situation, healthwise.
In light of this adversity, the Quinonez clan who is holding on on the surge of thoughts, prayers and sympathies that inundate us, would like to thank you all for your support. Knowing that you are with us during this ordeal makes our load easier to bear. Salamater gayod sa iyo tanan.
