To All Batch Coordinators, PSAA Officers & Board of Directors:

Herewith are some excerpts from the minutes of meeting attended by some of the PSAA Officers and board of directors last Feb. 10, 2008 about our upcoming Annual Alumni Homecoming on March 23, 2008, Easter Sunday at the Tago gymnasium.

This is for your information and dissemination.

We will also be having a special meeting again on March 9, 2008, Sunday, 3pm at the Tago Parish Seminar Hall. Your presence will be highly appreciated. Please come on time.

Excerpts from the minutes of meeting:

What: PURISIMA SCHOOL ALUMNI ANNUAL HOMECOMING
When: March 23, 2008 (EASTER SUNDAY)

Part I > Thanksgiving Mass
First Mass, 4:00 a.m. (everybody is encouraged to offer in cash or in kind)

>Business Meeting
10:00 a.m., Purisima School Social Hall
1. Election of new set of PSAA Officers
2. First and last canvassing for the Search of PSA King & Queen

Part II > Dinner/ Socials / Coronation Night
7:00 p.m., Tago Gymnasium

Highlights: 1. Coronation Night of PSA King & Queen 2008
2. Recognition of Jubilarians (Silver & Golden)
3. Dance Contest (Ballroom & Modern)
*Only the first 10 pairs/ group to register( 5 pairs for the ballroom dance and 5 groups for modern dance)
4. Disco/ Socials



OTHER DETAILS:

1. Search for PSA King & Queen 2008
* Purpose: Repair & Improvement of Purisima School.
* Batches 1949 to 1975 are not obliged to join but required to pay the registration of Php200.00/batch. They may also wish to add more as their donation/contribution for the said fund raising.

*Required to join: Batches 1976-2007
(Batches without candidates are required to contribute Php500.00 (inclusive of their annual registration fee of Php200.00)

* Each participating batch will be given 15 envelopes.
* Winners: Top 5 Pairs only.
* Percentage Sharing of Raised Funds alumni share : batch share
Php10,000.00 & above - 50% : 50%
8,000.00-9,999.00 - 60% : 40%
6,000.00-7,999.00 - 80% : 20%
4,000.00-5,999.00 - 70% : 30%
3,999.00 & below - 90% : 10%

2. Table Arrangement (Gym) --- ----pls. provide your own tables.
* Batches 1948-65 - one table
1966-70 - one table
1971-75 - one table
1976 & above - one table per batch (but may also opt to share table with other batches)

3. Working Committees

> Crowns & Capes - Mrs. Edna Roces

i suggest we honor also Purisimian board passers and observe a 3-minute silence for Purisimians who passed away. A slide show is a way to go.

and by the way, what does the By-laws say on the election of officers? Is it done through a general assembly or business meeting? I understand the business meeting is attended by officers and batch coordinators only, does this mean only the present officers and batch coordinators shall elect the PSAA officers?

Aren't you going to report the result of the business meeting in the evening? And what about the induction?

just asking. :-D

I also checked d by laws, it is stated that the election is done during the general meeting(so, the members must also be present during the election)...enwez, may special meeting pa sa March 9.('hop maka attend sab kamu :) )....e finalize da ini as well as the program
