SIR BERT NAHIAL SAYS GOODBYE
Sir Alberto Nahial had a fatal heart attack in the afternoon of 2 March 2009. Though he was brought to the hospital, he was pronounced DOA.
Sixty-nine years old, Sir Nahial is survived by his wife, Ma'am Alice, children Bertlice and Lolong, and grandchildren. His remains lie in state at his residence in Tago.
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the bereaved family.

About 3:00 o'clock on 2 March 2009, I saw Ma'am Alice and Bertlice lining up at the ATM of Landbank. If not for the long queue, I would have called Bertlice, surprised as I was to see her. Thought she was still in Dubai.
We heard the news of the untimely death of Sir Nahial in the evening. The story went that after he, Ma'am Alice and Bertlice had some snacks at Goldbar, they went to Tandag Market. Once there, they separated: he went to the fish section while Bertlice and Ma'am Alice went to Silvoza Store for some oil, eggs, etc.
Sir Nahial was choosing some kinds of fish when he fell just like that. People crowded over him and it was Alexis Curada who identified him. They brought him to Adela Serra Ty Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced DOA.
Dr. Laiden J. Oliguiber, who's the doctor of the Nahials, said Sir Nahial had cardio history.

Neng,
So sad to hear about your dad (uncle Bert's) passing. I was looking forward to seeing everyone in May. I pray that he will find peace in his sudden passing.
