June ten has been a memorable day to me;
It was my last meeting with the person so dear to me actually;
Though it was a gloomy emotion reunion,
But I’ve always treasured it than the oblivion.
June ten is the Calendar date when I learned the word detachment;
A day wherein my whole family has been in the midst of bereavement;
I learned that everything here on earth is temporary;
There’s no guarantee that everything will last forever and won’t slip away.
Torment in life comes first then acceptance;
Like experiencing death with our loved one is an instance;
After acceptance, realization will follow as it through;
Then detachment is the final solution to move on and to do so.
Why am I saying this?
I am sure you have an inkling guess.
June ten is the death anniversary of my Lolo Fidel;
A person I admired most because of his sense of goodwill.
Death is a part of life cycle so mysterious and hard to grasp;
Only God knows when will be our last and final gasp.
I am only sharing my experience with my Lolo to those who’ve been experiencing like this;
It’s the only way to ease the pain while mending ‘til it cease.
JUNE TEN

Yes, it's true;
Though it hurts but we've to let go;
Their absence as you've said taught us perseverance;
To make us strong I think in every struggles in life like for instance.
How old were you then when your father died?
It must have been sad when he's not always at your side;
I'm sure the experience had taught you a lot;
The reason why you're strong enough because of the experiences you've got.
